The Sunrise Express travels as a single train before dividing into the Izumo and Seto routes. I utilized scanimation to reflect this 'combining and separating' concept, revealing distinct visuals through movement.

Based on this idea, I developed a visual identity that expresses the coexistence and transition between two distinct flows. As a result, I created a variable typeface and a pattern system based on circular forms, to establish a cohesive and flexible brand identity.
